Broken Bow Public Schools

Broken Bow is located in beautiful central Nebraska and is a thriving community of 3,500 residents, with numerous amenities available.

Broken Bow Public School is one of the community's largest employers, employing 150 people in various capacities to provide an outstanding PreK-12 education to nearly 870 students.  Each day, these employees and students work hard to achieve our purpose of Building Character, Optimizing Learning, and Widening Opportunities. 

Broken Bow Public Schools has a proud tradition of excellence.  Since 1915, the district has been continuously accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement.

The Broken Bow Pubic School System consists of:
New Discoveries Preschool
New Discoveries North Preschool
North Park Elementary: grades K-4
Custer Intermediate: grades 5-6
Broken Bow Junior High: grades 7-8
Broken Bow High School: grades 9-12

Broken Bow Schools are a member and host for the Sandhills Educational Services Cooperative.  Five school districts in Custer and Blaine Counties have joined together to provide the leadership and support services network vitally necessary to assist students of all ages to meet their individual educational needs.
